Filling in Word and PDF forms

Do you want to complete the form (1) on your computer or (2) by hand ?

If you want to complete your form (2) by hand, then click on the PDF version of the form and select "open" from the window which appears. The form will open up, and if the computer you are using is linked to a printer, you can print the form out directly to complete by hand.

If you want to complete the form (1) on your computer, then you need to decide if you will  (1a) want to save a copy of the completed form on your computer or you just want to (1b) complete on the computer and print out without saving a copy.

If you want to (1a) save a copy of the completed form on your computer, then you must choose the Microsoft Word version of the form.  Click on the Microsoft Word version of the form and select "open" from the window which appears.  Type in your information, and save the form to your computer. (If the computer you are using is linked to a printer, you can also print the form out directly. )

If you just want to (1b) complete on the computer and print out without saving a copy, then click on the link for either the PDF or Microsoft Word version of the form, select "open" from the window which appears. The form will open up.  Type in the information.  If the computer you are using is linked to a printer, you can print the form out directly.  You must print out the form before you switch off your computer.

If you want to download the forms to complete at a later date, then first decide how you will want to complete the form, and whether you will want to save the completed copy on your computer, using the steps above.  This will help you decide if you need to download a PDF or a Microsoft Word version of the form.  Once you have decided which version of the form you need, click on the link to that form.  Select "save" from the window which appears.  You can then save the blank form to your computer to complete later.
